2. Content Search for Meeting Details:
Under Solutions click on → Content Search section, Click on New Search,
Provide the Name and Description of Search. We have given the Name as Test, that will be used during Powershell commands
For locations — Select the status on for Exchange and uncheck the Add App Content for On-Premises Users.
In Conditions page — Enter the Subject of the meeting in the format below.
Example: Consider the meeting Subject Title is Testing.
kind:meetings AND Subject:”Testing”.
Click on Submit
Wait until the content search that was created changes it status to Completed.
3. PowerShell Access to Exchange:
Open PowerShell as Administrator, Connect to Exchange using the command
Connect-exchangeonline.
It will prompt for the username and password , Enter the details you will be logged into the exchange.
4. Security and Compliance Login:
Execute the PowerShell command to log in to the Security and Compliance Center, enabling access to advanced security features.
Connect-IPPSSession
It will prompt for the username and password , Enter the details.
5. Purge Calendar Invite:
Using PowerShell, enter the purge command to permanently delete the calendar invite associated with the departed employee.
New-ComplianceSearchAction -SearchName “Name of the content search” -Purge -PurgeType SoftDelete.
Example: New-ComplianceSearchAction -SearchName “Test” -Purge -PurgeType SoftDelete.
6. Verification:
After executing the purge command, verify that the calendar invite has been successfully removed by cross-checking the calender invite in teams.
